Private Lessons

SportsCare Arena offers private skating lessons for all ages and skill levels, from beginners through advanced competitive skaters. Lessons are available in figure skating, hockey, power skating, and synchronized skating, and are taught by experienced, certified instructors.

Private lessons may be one-on-one or semi-private and are tailored to each skater’s individual goals. Whether learning basic skating skills, refining jumps and spins, improving hockey performance, or developing speed, power, and edge control, our instructors customize each lesson to meet the skater’s needs.

‍Days & Times
Private lessons take place during public skating, freestyle, sticktime, or designated private lesson ice, depending on the discipline and skill level. During the winter months / hockey season, most private lessons take place on weekends due to ice availability.

‍Cost
Private lesson prices vary by instructor. Families pay the instructor directly for the lesson fee. In addition, skaters must pay the rink for the ice time corresponding to the session they are skating on, whether public skating, freestyle, sticktime, or private lesson ice. Both fees are required in order to participate in private lessons.

‍Booking
Please email katie@sportscarearena.com with the type of lessons and your availability. Once you are set up with a private lesson instructor, you will book specific lesson dates and times directly with them.

‍Instructor Approval
All private lesson instructors must be approved to teach at SportsCare Arena. Any outside instructors must receive approval from the rink prior to teaching on any SportsCare Arena sessions.
