TAKE A SHOT AT HOCKEY

Take a Shot at Hockey is a FREE introductory 30-minute skating class designed for children who are interested in hockey but have very little to no skating experience. This program is open to boys and girls ages 4–9 and junior boys and girls ages 10–13.Take a Shot at Hockey is designed to introduce children to hockey and encourage them to continue developing their skating skills through our Learn to Skate program. To develop the skating skills needed to play hockey, skaters can progress through our Hockey 1 and Hockey 2 classes. After completing Hockey 1 and 2, skaters can then progress to Learn to Play Hockey.FOR BEGINNER SKATERS ONLY — VERY LITTLE TO NO SKATING EXPERIENCE!Skaters who have previously participated in Learn to Skate or Learn to Play are NOT eligible for Take a Shot at Hockey

Learn to Play Hockey

Sign up for Rookie 1 and receive FREE GEAR!! Each gear bag includes a stick, helmet with cage, jersey, and full equipment except skates (rental skates available for use). The Rookie Program introduces players to shooting, passing, stickhandling and other fundamental skills.

YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE

Rec league consists of in-house / limited travel league play where players get the opportunity to join a team. The schedule consists of both games and team practices.

TIER 2 YOUTH HOCKEY

Sign up for tryouts and showcase your skills! Join a travel team and compete all season (approximately September through February) against other clubs in your region in weekly games and practices. Play for a championship in the end of the season playoffs!

ELITE  YOUTH HOCKEY

Are you ready to compete against the top players in the country? Travel hockey provides for a rigorous schedule and fierce competition as you play against the best from our area plus out of state. You can expect to practice 2-3 times per week and play games on most weekends during the season. Train hard and play with the best!

Which equipment is provided in the free gear program?

First-time hockey players receive the following equipment for free on their 1st day of class. Jersey and socks, stick, helmet with cage, shin pads, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, hockey pants, hockey bag Skates are not included in the free gear program but rental skates are available until you are ready to get fitted for your own pair. When you enroll in our Jets Rookie Program, your gear will be provided for you.
